The Restaurant

Andy made a deal with a demon.

He manages a small but ambitious Italian eatery called Scoppa. The demon’s black magic lures patrons to the restaurant; in return, Andy feeds guests to the demon, who dwells in the basement. It was all going smoothly, business was booming, reviews were glowing…

Until the busboy found out.

The Restaurant is Hayride’s first feature film. It’s a horror comedy in the tradition of Ghostbusters and An American Werewolf in London. Principal photography took place October of 2015 with the final cut expected by summer 2016. A significant part of our funding was secured via a successful Kickstarter campaign in early 2015. For updates on production status and notes from behind the scenes, check out our blog.

We have an amazing cast which includes Robert Clohessy as the chef, Tony White as the bartender, Mark Robert Turner as the manager, Anthony Misiano as the busboy, Paul Casali as the demon, Sam Haft as a food photographer, Debra Jans as a blogger, Matthew Thomas Burda as a diner who gets targeted by the demon, and many more.
