The Restaurant

Scoppa, a small but ambitious Italian eatery in the heart of New York. This up and coming destination for foodies everywhere harbors a dark secret.

The manager, Andy, has made a deal. In exchange for glowing reviews, he must feed the undesirable guests to an entity in the basement. It was all going smoothly —

until the busboy found out.

The Restaurant is a comedy-horror feature in the tradition of Ghostbusters, starring Robert Clohessy (HBO’s Oz, Boardwalk Empire) and upcoming stars Mark Robert Turner (Star Trek 420), Anthony Misano (AMC’s Turn), and Byron Clohessy (CBS’s Blue Bloods). We originally pitched the project over Kickstarter, where nearly 200 backers carried us to success. We then produced it in the best tradition of shoestring budget indie films, shooting overnight and returning to our daytime jobs in the morning. This is the first feature for writer-director Eric Ford Holevinski.
